Flea Market in Paris

There are many old things to shift through and you can even find a (used) 10Euro Channel bag over here!

If you are staying in Paris for the long period, maybe this flea market is good to visit. But for us, it was my mistake!

I googled and found out that this market was only open Sunday to Monday. Since we arrived Monday around lunch time (from Germany), we dropped our suitcase at our hotel and ran to the market!

The market is about 2 Metro trains or 45 mins away from our hotel it Dupleix Station (Green Line No.6). Once we got off the train, we had no clue where to go to the market. We got stuck in the Metro station until we could connect to the FREE WIFI in the station and find the way to go.

It was quite a long walk from the station to the market.

We walked past the many vendors that offer counterfeit stuff, shirts, shoes, bags, sun glasses, etc.

There are also many African art (like souvenirs) shops around the market too.

Eventually we found the way into the flea market that has more old stuff.

I can’t give you a good guide on how to get there, we just kept walking!

It was a little disappointing that I couldn’t find anything I like neither Tim.

There is a big hall or dome with an upper floor where you can find more stuff and some of them are very very old, like CDs, books, video games…

Before we headed back to the hotel, we were kind of lost – it took a little time to find out the way to walk back to the train station where we started.
We spent about 1.5 hrs at the market (More like…getting lost and not knowing where to go).

If you are not looking for some specific items for your collections, or if old stuff isn’t your passion. I would recommend passing the market if you have a really short visit in Paris…

Undoubtedly we have no questions to ask which are unanswerable. We must trust the perfection of the creation so far, as to believe that whatever curiosity the order of things has awakened in our minds, the order of things can satisfy. Every man’s condition is a solution in hieroglyphic to those inquiries he would put.
