The Do”s
Wear appropriate clothing:
Choose fitted, breathable clothing that fully covers your underarms and the backs of your knees. This helps prevent fabric burns, skin irritation, and chafing during practice.
Listen to your body:
Practice at your own pace and honor your limits. If you feel dizzy, uncomfortable, or overwhelmed, skip inversions, flips, or any movement that doesn’t feel right.
Remove all jewelry:
Take off rings, watches, necklaces, bracelets, and dangling earrings before class. Jewelry can snag, tear, or permanently damage the aerial hammock.
Stay hydrated:
Drink plenty of water throughout the day, but avoid drinking large amounts immediately before class to prevent discomfort while moving or hanging upside down.

The Don’ts
Don’t apply lotions or oils:
Avoid using body lotions, oils, or heavy moisturizers before class. Slippery skin can make it difficult to maintain a secure grip on the hammock.
Don’t eat a heavy meal:
Try not to eat large meals within two to three hours of class. Inversions with a full stomach can cause nausea and abdominal discomfort.
Don’t wear clothing with zippers or buttons:
Leave clothing with metal hardware at home. Zippers, buttons, and other sharp accessories can snag or damage the fabric.
Don’t rush out of inversions:
When coming out of an upside-down position, move slowly and mindfully. Give your body time to adjust and allow your blood pressure to regulate to avoid dizziness.
Don’t skip the basics:
Avoid attempting advanced flips, drops, or inversions without proper instruction. Always learn new skills under the guidance of a qualified instructor and use appropriate safety equipment.
