Covid 19 in Thailand

Thailand is easing its entry requirements and Thailand Pass process from the 1st of May, 2022.





Thailand Travel Updates for May 1, 2022

    • All visitors must have an approved Thailand Pass to enter Thailand.
    • NO RT-PCR testing is required when entering Thailand.
    • A certificate of full (2 doses) vaccination (if NO Covid19 Vaccinated, you have to have 5-day Alternate Quarantine or a No Quarantine program if they have a pre-departure RT-PCR test.)
    • COVID-19 insurance is reduced from $20,000 USD to $10,000 USD

Archived: Requirements for Test & Go, starting Feb 1, 2022.

  • Proof of hotel booking for Day 1 and Day 5 in Thailand
  • Confirmed payment for a SHA+ approved hotel  —> I would recommend you to check the list of hotel, then book directly with hotel reservation.
  • Pre-payment for the two RT-PCR tests
  • Certificate of vaccination or vaccine passport
  • Medical Insurance with coverage no less than $50,000
    FAQ: Does my insurance have to be a COVID-19 insurance in order to register with Thailand Pass?
    – No. You can also use general insurance or health insurance with a minimum coverage of 50,000 USD
  • Thailand Pass QR code (Click HERE for the official website run by the Department of Consular Affairs. The Thailand Pass is free. Watch out for other sites seeking payment.)
  • Proof of a negative result from an RT-PCR test issued no more than 72 hours before departure (Show your test result at airline counter check-in and when you arrive Thailand).
