The Busan Fireworks Festival

The Busan Fireworks Festival takes place every October along Gwangalli Beach. It has been reported that they have over 1 million visitors each year!

2018 is my first time for the Busan Firework Festival.

Before the festival, I was checking online to see where I should go.  There were tickets on sale for chair and table, or only chairs.  But I was checking too late – so only a few chairs left and it’s all the way in the back row!

I don’t think I want to pay 70,000won each to sit in the back!  But if you are looking for the show next year, you can keep an eye on the tickets which are available at Trazy.com ( I don’t get any commission, go try!)

But we had some good luck to be invited to our friend’s condo (Walter and Colleen) in Adeles on the 41st floor – it’s a great view up there, we can see the whole show!

It’s super cool because we have one of the Firework Badge just right in front of us!

But if you aren’t as lucky like us – you can head to the Gwangalli Beach where the Main Firework show is, and it’s absolutely very crowded over there!

The other free options that I saw when I walked from Haeundae Beach to Marine city (where the Adeles condo) is to stay on  Haeundae beach or The Dongbaek Island, or  the street right in front Adeles Condo (as I said, it’s one of the Firework Badge right there!)

If you can get a ticket, try the boat or the cruise, I think it would be the magnificent view for you.  I’m not sure how to get on the boat, but you can find out more info at Tiffany 21.

Something about Korean that I really like when they do any festival – they just go for it!

Like Firework Festival, they just lit fireworks like crazy for one hour  (from 8pm – 9pm) – Maybe just 10 mins break during the show.

They won’t have anything else – for example, they don’t have any market or booths set up.  But there are some cute balloons selling on the street in Dongbeak area and I got one it’s 10,000 won!

So after the show, people just go home.

I would recommend you to not take the car, I can see the traffic-jam even during the show.  Then you might miss the whole freaking show!
